J Neurol Neurosurg Psychiatry. 2010;81:608-10. REFERENCES While occipital dominant hypoperfusion exhibited in brain SPECT is a helpful finding for diagnoses with DLB/PDD, atypical hypoperfusion pattern such as frontal dominant hypoperfusion is sometimes observed in DLB/PDD patients and is troublesome because its clinical significance remains unknown. In this study, we show the characteristics of a patient population of DLB/PDD exhibiting frontal hypoperfusion in brain SPECT. We also discuss about the relationship between the population and Alzheimer pathology.
