Examination revealed bilateral deep kissing ulcers on the medial aspect of the labia minora with a red border and overlying black eschar appearance (Figure). Wound culture, Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV), HIV, and Venereal Disease Research Laboratory (VDRL) testing was negative. Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) Immunoglobulin G (IgG) was positive, and Immunoglobulin M (IgM) was negative. She was diagnosed with Lipschutz ulcers by exclusion of other causes and managed conservatively with analgesia, barrier ointment, and a hygiene regimen. Her symptoms improved and the lesions healed without sequelae.
