Abstract: A novel titanium-containing self-assembled ionic liquid based hybrid organic-inorganic organosilica (Ti-ILOS) was prepared, characterized and applied as highly effective catalyst for the green epoxidation of alkenes in the presence of hydrogen peroxide as oxidant. The Ti-ILOS catalyst was characterized using FT-IR, SEM, XPS and EDX analyses. This catalyst was recovered and reused several times without significant loss of performance. The leaching test was also performed to investigate the stability and nature of designed catalyst under applied conditions.
