Abstract Natural radiative lifetimes for 15 excited levels of Eu I were measured using time-resolved laser-induced fluorescence (TR-LIF) technique in a laser-induced europium plasma. The levels are in the energy range from 35612.47 to 50040 cm−1. The lifetimes range from 9.4 to 436 ns with the uncertainties within ten percent. To our best knowledge, 11 lifetimes of Eu I are reported for the first time.
