Abstract In this research, Ag@CdSe/Zeoilte nanocomposite was successfully synthesized and the prepared nanocomposite were characterized by FTIR, XRD, FESEM, EDS, TEM, BET, and DRS techniques. Response Surface Methodology (RSM) was employed for optimization of Methylene Blue (MB) photocatalytic removal condition by Ag@CdSe/Zeoilte photocatalyst based on Central Cubic Design (CCD). According to the results, 89.98% of MB removal was obtained at [MB]=7.17 mg/L, Ag@CdSe/Zeolite dosage=0.03g/50mL, pH =8 and t= 40 min. Also, the photocatalyst stability and kinetic of photocatalytic removal of MB was investigated. Overall, Ag@CdSe/Zeoilte photocatalyst shows a great potential to remove of MB from aqueous solutions.
