Abstract In this study, a high energy product up to 10.1 MGOe and a high saturation magnetization of 70.6 emu/g were obtained in the low temperature phase (LTP) Mn55Bi45/Co and LTP-Mn55Bi45/Fe7Co3 hard-soft magnetic nanocomposites at room temperature. As the content of the soft magnetic Fe7Co3/Co phase in the hard-soft magnetic nanocomposites increases, the coercivity decreases continuously, while the saturation magnetization increases simultaneously. The hard-soft magnetic composites exhibit potential for high-temperature applications.
