Abstract Titanium-containing zeolitic catalysts show high activity and selectivity in numerous environmentally-friendly oxidation reactions. However, the small micropores show severe restrictions for the oxidation of large organic reactants. Here, Ti-SFN zeolite with 14-ring extra-large-pores (6.2 × 8.5 A) was firstly synthesized by a chemical vapor deposition method and proved to have superior catalytic performance for bulker molecular oxidation using hydrogen peroxide as an oxidant compared to 10-ring TS-1 and 14-ring Ti-CIT-5 zeolites.
