Abstract This paper focuses on the thermoelectric properties of natural chalcopyrite and provides methods for optimizing its thermoelectric properties. Natural chalcopyrite shows obvious anisotropic thermoelectric properties. Although the thermoelectric properties of natural chalcopyrite are low, they are found to be significantly enhanced by vacuum annealing. Natural chalcopyrite was proven to be feasible and potential thermoelectric materials.
