Abstract Herein, a novel composite material (LZ-276&ACNFs) combining LZ-276 zeolite with alkali impregnated carbon nanofibers (ACNFs) was prepared by electrospinning method, high-temperature calcination, temple-free and in-situ growth. The walnut-like LZ-276 zeolites are strung by intricate ACNFs. The materials were characterized by FT-IR, XRD, XPS, SEM, and N2 adsorption–desorption. The conversion of styrene and the yield of styrene oxide was 93.79% and 62.65%, respectively.
