A SnO2–SnO nanocomposite was electrochemically synthesized using pulse alternating current and characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, UV-VIS DRS, and lowtemperature N2 adsorption/desorption (BET) methods. The photocatalytic activity of nanocomposite was estimated for the degradation of methylene blue dye. The pseudo-first-order reaction constant rate k was calculated to be 79.1 × 10−3 min−1.
