Abstract Herein, a new voltammetry sensor was designed by the electrodeposition of silver nanoparticles and 2-amino-5-chloro benzophenone on pencil graphite electrode. Morphology of the modified surfaces were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and the obtained results confirmed constructing of Nano films. As analytical feature, a well distinguished voltammetry peak at 0.13 V (versus Ag/AgCl) was observed at pH of 7.0, monitoring by square-wave voltammetry mode. The electro catalytic performance of this modified electrode for reduction of vitamin K1 was verified by the parameters of α =0.23, log ks =3.24s-1 and Γ=9×10-9 mol cm−2. The calibration graph consisted of a linear segment of 50 –700 nmolL-1 with the limit of detection of 16.58 nmolL-1 (based on 3sb). The analytical applications of the proposed sensor were also tested by the direct quantifying of vitamin K1 in human blood serums using the standard addition method and the found values were validated with respect to the spiked initial values. Empirical data approved that the proposed sensor has good reproducibility and repeatability, and also a freeness of interfering with the maintaining of long-term stability.
