Abstract The reported study by Ning et al. about measurement and correlation of the solubility of estradiol and estradiol-urea co-crystal in fourteen pure solvents at temperatures from 273.15 K to 318.15 K has been evaluated from viewpoint of the applied method for determination of co-crystal solubility; and the effect of solid transformations in determination of co-crystal solubility has been discussed.
