This issue is the second part to Dr Brandao’s twopart series on advanced imaging of brain tumors. The prior issue focused on adult brain tumors,while this issue focused on pediatric brain neoplasms. This issue provides a superb review for neuroradiologists and radiologists who routinely interpret neuroimaging studies. Equally important, this issue also integrates the latest information from the updated World Health Organization classification. The updated classification makes substantive and important changes by integrating imaging and molecular and genetic markers into brain tumor classification and staging. The new classification especially impacts medulloblastomas.
