Abstract We investigate the “inverted” solitons in spin-orbit-coupled Bose-Einstein condensate with one-dimensional spatially periodic Zeeman field. Soliton existence depends on the exact invert for the condensate components in the spatially periodic Zeeman field. And the position and the total pseudomagnetization density of the solitons can be controlled by the spatially periodic Zeeman field. Simulated results show that the inverted solitons can be stable for the interatomic attractive interactions.
