Abstract In this work, the effect of reduced graphene oxide (RGO), graphene oxide (GO), carbon nanotube (CNT) and sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) on the kinetic of propane hydrate at the temperature of 274.15 K and the initial pressure of 0.45 MPa have been studied. The results show that these additives improve the hydrate nucleation and growth rate, however, have no significant effect on the storage capacity and the water to hydrate conversion.
