Abstract In this paper we propose a hybrid optomechanical system consisting of two optical cavities, in which a mechanical mirror acts as the interface between cavities. It is considered that each cavity contains an optical parametric amplifier. We show that the presence of both parametric amplifiers can enhance cooling of oscillations of the movable mirror. Also, we show that by considering appropriate values for optical parameters of the system, an optimal temperature is obtained for the movable mirror.
