Abstract Six triterpene glycosides including four new ones, chenoalbumosides A–D (1-4), and two known triterpene glycosides, chikusetsusaponin IVa (5) and ginsennoside Ro (6), were isolated from the aerial parts of Chenopodium album Linn (Chenopodiaceae). Their structures were determined by extensive analyses of HR-ESI-MS and NMR spectral data. The cytotoxic activity of compounds 1-6 were evaluated against HT-29, SW480, AGS, and MKN7 cell lines. Unfortunately, our results indicated that none of these compounds were potential cytotoxic agents, showing IC50 values over 50 μM.
