Abstract: Tailored, Ph, Si, and N as center species on microporous organic polymers (MPOPs), Ph-MPOP, Si-MPOP, and N-MPOP, were prepared through Schiff base reaction. Interestingly, MPOPs have been designed to have different N and Si center atoms that enhanced CO2 capture ability and isosteric heat through dipole-quadrupole interaction. The adsorption experiments suggested the increase of CO2 uptake values was dominated by the Si and N center decorated MPOPs.
