Abstract A 5.2 GHz Low Noise Amplifier (LNA), intended for Wireless LAN. The input reflection coefficient and output reflection coefficient are both less than -10 dB. The amplifier provides a forward gain (S21) larger than 11dB, with a noise figure of 0.7dB. Another issue has been investigated concerning LNA having low power consumption. We have obtained a Pdc of 25 mW. The linearity of input third-order intercept point is 27dBm. Besides, we obtain 1dBm input compression of 8.8dBm. The chip area occupies for FR-4 Substrate is 5x2 cm2.
