Abstract The present paper aims to investigate the integration of a hydrogen fueling infrastructure and a hydrogen advanced mobility system, such as a fuel cell hybrid tram for a new tramway route. A mathematical model has been formalized and implemented in order to analyze the key elements of such integrated energy system. The model is used to carry out a sensitive analysis to investigate the system response to different passengers numbers and journey speed, monitoring the hydrogen daily consumption, the station energy consumption and the overall system efficiency. Results have been used as a support to provide insights on potential interconnections with Industry 4.0 applications.
