Abstract The main purpose of any business is to achieve profit, that is, to obtain income from the capital used in an enterprise, representing the difference between the investment and the work done. Increase in profits can also be achieved by reducing the costs of the technological process. Electrostatic field painting is a superior paint coating technology, in powder form on metallic surfaces, which are treated thermally. It is used in almost all industries, starting with architecture, aeronautics, machinery and equipment, household, sports or electronics, etc. In the powder painting activity in the electrostatic field, the consumption of raw materials, respectively the losses related thereto, have a significant weight in the total final balance at the time when the profit and losses are calculated. The paper aims to present an innovative method in the field of electrostatic painting for those who want to make innovative and safe implementations in order to substantiate the decisions leading to the reduction of the production costs without affecting the quality of the product and the offered service.
