Abstract The emergence and spread of a new coronavirus (SARSCoV-2) from Wuhan, China, has become a public health emergency of international concern, designated by the World Health Organization [1]. We report a case of an infant, female, 17 months old, from Berkan, Morocco, initially admitted for management of anemia, followed by a picture of severe sepsis, body scan showed bilateral viral-looking lung lesions, RT-PCR confirmed the diagnosis of SARS-COV-2, the patient died after 24H due to acute respiratory distress syndrome.
