Abstract This paper addresses the theme of accessibility and digital inclusion in Brazil, having as research territory the city of Campo Grande in Mato Grosso do Sul, which is compared to the city of Busan in South Korea. The research’s objective is to investigate the main differences between the two countries, regarding investments in accessibility and digital inclusion in the respective cities, and its consequences for the society and economy. Using a descriptive-comparative methodology, the data surveyed were used to describe the quality of services offered in each city. As for the results, they converge to the fact that the benefits of technology and governance in tune with education and societal needs, improve competitiveness rankings of the country, besides promoting the improvement of social relations and economic growth.
