Abstract The aim of this work is the preparation of SnFe 2 O 4 /SnO 2 /PANI magnetically separable photocatalyst for removal of a two dye mixture solution. The prepared sample was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) and UV–Vis spectrophotometer. The mixture of methylene blue (MB) and methyl orange (MO) in aqueous solution was chosen as an environmental dye pollutant model. The results indicated that the photocatalytic efficiency of the SnFe 2 O 4 /SnO 2 /PANI compared to SnFe 2 O 4 /PANI sample was improved. The SnFe 2 O 4 /SnO 2 /PANI sample demonstrated the good removal ability after several utilizations. The Langmuir-Hinshelwood model for the decolorization kinetic data was examined.
