Abstract Online nursing education programs have grown exponentially, including RN to BSN completion program that associate degree nurses may pursue. This study was a qualitative descriptive summary of faculty perceptions and experiences of online teaching. Four themes emerged from the analysis: Technological Proficiency, Time, Relationships with Students, and Faculty Support/Resources. Narrative comments were provided to support these themes, as well as recommendations for further research and implications for nursing education.
