Abstract In this paper we will consider S -density topology, which is a generalization of the classical density topology. The notion of S -density was recently introduced by F. Strobin and R. Wiertelak in paper On the generalization of density topologies on the real line published in the journal Topology and its Applications. We will show that topologies generated by special kind of sequences of sets, so called regular sequences, are always lower density topologies.
