Highlights • Ultrasonic assisted enzymatic degumming (UAED) is developed to refine ARA oil.• UAED is optimized by response surface methodology with Box- Behnken design.• Fatty acid composition of oil by UAED is similar to those of enzymatic degumming (ED) and crude oil.• In addition to oxidation stability, the quality of oil by UAED is superior to that of oil by ED and crude oil.
