We read with great interest the article by Gandhoke et al titled “Supraorbital versus Endoscopic Endonasal Approaches for Olfactory Groove Meningiomas: A Cost-Minimization Study” in the April issue of World Neurosurgery. In it, the authors (who do not use both approaches in their practice) applied a decision tree analysis to estimate costs of each approach for these tumors. There are, however, significant assumptions and methodological flaws that invalidate their conclusions.
