Objectives: To evaluate the demographic factors associated with the incidence of vulvar cancer in the United States. Methods: From 2001-2017, incidence rates of vulvar cancers (squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, adenocarcinoma, and sarcoma) were estimated from the United States Cancer Statistics Public Use Database. SEER*Stat and Joinpoint regression programs were used to calculate incidence (per 100,000) and average annual percent change (AAPC). Results: The age adjusted incidence for vulvar cancer was 2.60 per 100,000 in the year 2017. Over the course of 16 years, there was an increase of 0.7% per year (p Download : Download high-res image (84KB) Download : Download full-size image Conclusions: Whites have a higher risk of vulvar cancer compared to Blacks and Hispanics. Whites between 50-59 years old had the highest incidence at 5.0 per 100,000 with an increase of 2.5% per year.
