Cardiac sarcoidosis clinically manifests as non-caseating granulomas within the myocardium that can lead to areas of late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) predominantly within the basal and mid-left ventricular septum close to the His-Purkinje system leading to increased arrhythmias and heart block.
