Whether non-thienopyridines may protect patients more efficiently from microembolic events during TAVI has not been investigated. We hypothesized that ticagrelor+ASA will reduce the number of microemboli towards the cerebral circulation during TAVI comparing to the combination of clopidogrel+ASA.
