is the quantification of the degradation of the marble via thin section, FTIR, and XRD analyses; and the recognition of infestation by algae, cyanobacteria, and lichens. The second presents a thermographic analysis of the blocks in situ to determine the consequence of exposure to ambient gases and hot water, and the impact of those on conservation efforts. The third presents an archaeometric analysis of the mortars employed in the construction of Temple A.
