The excess volume of binary mixtures and the isobaric vapor–liquid equilibrium (VLE) data at high pressure have been determined. The VLE values for methyl acetate + n-heptane or 2,2,4-trimethylpentane and ethyl acetate + n-heptane or 2,2,4-trimethylpentane at different pressures were obtained experimentally using a stainless steel ebulliometer. The experimental data at 0.1 MPa were verified by using the point-to-point test. The high pressure data were verified by employing the ϕ–ϕ approximation. The equations of state (EOSs) of Peng–Robinson–Stryjek–Vera, with both quadratic or Wong–Sandler mixing rules, and the PC-SAFT were applied for modeling purposes. It has been verified that the azeotropic point in the binary mixtures of this work was eliminated by increasing the pressure.
