Experimental excess molar enthalpies of binary systems that are constituted by different groups of hydrocarbons, which are 1-hexene, methylcyclohexane, cyclohexane, isooctane, and heptane, are reported in this work. Precisely, the mixtures composed of 1-hexene, heptane, and isooctane were evaluated at 298.15 and 313.15 K although the rest of the mixtures were studied at 313.15 K. A quasi-isothermal flow calorimeter at atmospheric pressure has been used to measure the excess molar enthalpies of the studied mixtures. All the binary systems presented an endothermic behavior at the chosen temperatures. Furthermore, the measured data were fitted to the Redlich–Kister equation and NRTL and UNIQUAC models. Hence, the values of the standard deviation indicated the good agreement between the experimental data and the modeling results.
