In this experiment, calcium alginate (CA)/polyethylene glycol diacrylate (PEGDA)/polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) composite fiber containing PVA microcrystalline cross-linking point and PEGDA/CA double network structure was prepared by “one pot method”, freeze–thaw cycle and dynamic molding method. PEGDA was used as the chemical crosslinking component, sodium alginate (SA) was the ionic crosslinking component, and PVA was the microcrystalline crosslinking component. The breaking strength and breaking elongation of the microcrystalline cross-linking synergistically with the double network composite fiber were 3.18 cN per dtex and 11.75%, respectively, which were 30.33% and 74.07% higher than that of the regenerated CA fiber. The rheological properties of the SA/PEGDA/PVA solution, mechanical properties and morphology of the CA/PEGDA/PVA fiber were also studied. This experiment was also focused on analyzing the mechanism and influencing factors of improving the mechanical properties of composite fibers.
