We study the long-time behavior of the solution to the connection Ricci flow on closed three-manifolds. The connection Ricci flow is a generalization of the Ricci flow to connection with torsion. We compare the evolving metrics under the connection Ricci flow and Ricci flow for some special cases. We obtain the blow-up rate of the Ricci tensor under the connection Ricci flow. Based on the result, we give the classification of the maximal solutions to the flow.
