The results of simulation of guided streamers driven by modulated voltage pulses are presented. It is shown that, in qualitative accordance with recently obtained experimental data, modulation of the applied voltage can lead to oscillations of the streamer propagation velocity and provide stepwise character of streamer propagation. A comparison of streamer characteristics upon application of modulated and constant voltages, showing the effects of modulation on plasma jet characteristics, is given. The results of simulation of guided streamers driven by modulated voltage pulses are presented.
