Magnetic properties of substituted lanthanum manganite La0.77Sr0.23MnO3 nanoparticles prepared by sol-gel synthesis, as well as ceramics based on them have been studied. The temperature dependence of the magnetization and effective anisotropy was analyzed for both kinds of samples. The law of approximation of magnetization to saturation was used to quantify the behavior in the region of high magnetic fields, and the limits of its application were specified. The magnetic anisotropy of nanoparticles and ceramic samples was compared, and the influence of size effects on magnetic characteristics was discussed.
