In this paper, we study a model for the flow of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current, which can reduce for flows with no azimuthal variations to a two-point boundary-value problem for a second-order ordinary differential equation. We investigate the existence of bounded solutions to the problem. For some class of oceanic vorticities F, we can obtain that the solution is unique and radially symmetric.
