ABSTRACT In order to measure the adhesive strength of coating more precise and accurate, non-contact three coordinates measuring instrument based on the principle of laser auto-focusing was designed, which could work in the accuracy of 0.1 µm to measure the metal surface. Through the applied of the optical measurement instrument designed in this article, the fracture surface after ripped by scratch stylus would be measured precisely. Another measurement method of adhesive strength of coating was be presented, which remain the pressure unchanged, and adopt multiple test with different pressure. Through the experiment, the method is effectively.
