Abstract We apply a photon correlation theory to ferroelectrics where we consider a photon field from its constituent electrons and ions. We calculate the spontaneous polarization which originates from certain alignments of photon field in correlation with the specific phonon mode. Using the microscopic Hamiltonian, we obtain the ferroelectric transition temperature, The spontaneous polarization derived by our theory is proportional to in some conformity with experimental data.
