Abstract Reaction between 1,3,5-tris(triazol-1-ylmethyl)-2,4,6-trimethylbenzene (TTTMB), KSCN and Cu(NO3)2·3H2O results in {[Cu3(TTTMB)4 (SCN)6]·3.5H2O}n (1), a special three-dimensional coordination polymer of Cu(II). The resulting product can selectively and efficiently adsorb Hg(II) ion in water solution, and the saturation ability of adsorption for the reactant is 439.8 mg·g−1. After treating mice with viral myocarditis, the values of the left ventricular fractional shortening (LVFS) and the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) were detected. Furthermore, the inflammatory response in the cardiomyocytes was measured with an enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) detection kit. Graphical Abstract
