Leiomyomas of the round ligament of the uterus are very rare tumours and they can be present as inguinal, pelvic or vulvar masses (L€ osch et al. 1999). These tumours are more common in the extraperitoneal portion of the ligament, and on the right side including inguinal and vulvar locations (Ali et al. 2012). They occur mostly in premenopausal middleaged women. While most of the cases are asymptomatic some of them might increase in size constantly and become palpable in abdominal or inguinal region. Herein, we report a case of leiomyoma of the left round ligament localised in deep inguinal ring and bulging into the pelvic cavity and mimics adnexal mass.
