Teratomas are the most common germ cell tumours that usually arise in the gonads. Extragonadal teratomas represent 2–5% of adult germ cell tumours which can be found in any midline structure including retroperitoneum and mediastinum (Albany and Einhorn 2013). Primary teratoma of the uterus is an extremely rare entity. We report an immature teratoma of the uterus with peritoneal and lymph node involvement in a 29-year-old woman which is a very rare presentation of this tumour.
