A 25-year-old woman, married for 1 year, was admitted to our clinic with a menstrual delay and abdominal pain. In the abdominal examination, defence and rebound findings were positive in the left lower quadrant. There was no vaginal bleeding during pelvic examination. Transvaginal ultrasonography (TVUSG) showed 30mm free fluid in Douglas and CRL 6w þ4d live foetus in left ovary. The vital signs were: SBP/ DBP 90/60mmHg, pulse rate: 120 beats/min and body temperature: 37 C laboratory values were Hb: 7.5mg/dl and Bhcg: 1100 MUI/mL. Emergency laparotomy was performed upon deterioration of the patient’s general condition. In exploration; uterus, bilateral tuba and right ovary were observed natural. Approximately 700 cc haemorrhagic fluid was present in the abdomen. An ectopic pregnancy was observed in the corpus luteum of the left ovarian tissue. Left ovary wedge resection was performed to protect the ovarian reserve and to take all of the ectopic pregnancy material.
