approach in the majority of examples, and the case studies are all described in sufficient detail so that strategies could be easily transferred to case work in the UK. This is one of the most informative and useful books that I have read for a while, with one of its greatest strengths being its clear link between theory and practice. It will certainly help me to use current and evidence based interventions. Many of the case studies were useful refreshers and the research in this book will provide new ways of approaching work with these types of families. My hope is that there will be someone equally as skilled and audacious as these authors to write a similar book using UK research and practice.
