Herein, we report three cases of cutaneous drug eruptions developing 2 weeks after initiation of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ). Two patients developed morbilliform eruptions, and one patient developed drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS). These cases were observed as a temporal cluster, and all three patients received medication from the same drug manufacturer. Cutaneous drug eruptions to HCQ are uncommon, and to observe multiple cases within a short period at one institu-tion is unusual. Our observation highlights the importance of clinician awareness of the potential for drug eruptions, including severe adverse cutaneous reactions, when pre-scribing HCQ.
