ABSTRACT The COVID-19 pandemic has led to attach importance to E-learning for all age groups. The purpose of this study is to understand the technology acceptance of older adult learners’ participation in E-learning through using the technological devices, and to serve as a reference for planning E-learning for older adult learners. The Method to carry out this study was using a survey and stratified random sampling to select 400 U3A learners as the participants. The main conclusions of this study are as follows: U3A learners have good awareness of using technology to participate in E-learning. And U3A learners prefer to participate in E-learning through mobile phones, and they can afford the purchase cost of technology equipment, network fees and course fees less than 1,000 NTD. In addition, they prefer easy steps to operate, real-time interactive teaching, and face-to-face interaction. Based on the research results, this study puts forward relevant suggestions for planning E-learning of older adult learners.
