Abstract This study investigated the impact of Big-Five personality traits and ethical climate on unethical behavior. We tested our model on a sample of 203 B-School students. The results show that agreeableness, conscientiousness, and ethical climate are negatively associated with unethical behavior. However, the present study does not provide empirical support for the theorized relationships of openness to experience, extroversion, and neuroticism with unethical behavior.
