Abstract Warehouse industry originated abroad and has gained great development for nearly one century. In this paper we combined the RFID technology with the features of food ware-housing management and explore RFID applications in the food storage process. Targeting at improving the storage efficiency of food enterprise, we try to reform the storage process with RFID technology, and evaluate the results by RFID process simulation model. Comparing with the previous RFID process simulation model, the specific advantages of this RFID technology are reflected, it can be found that the storage management efficiency of the food warehousing process improves significantly by the application of RFID technology in this paper.
